Young Adult Volunteer Opportunities at the Library
The library welcomes young adult (ages 12-17) volunteers for a variety of short and long term projects. If you have any questions about library volunteer opportunities, contact one of the teen services librarians listed on the About Us tab.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)  (6 month+ commitment)

Join TAB and earn volunteer credit for promoting library services to teens at the Westminster Public Libraries:
*Advise, plan, and participate in teen programs and events.
*Post reviews and teen news on the Teen Underground blog.
*Promote teen reading by creating bulletin boards and displays.
*Recommend materials for the young adult collection.
Attend one of the TAB meetings listed on the Events tab to get started! Fill out the volunteer application below and bring it to your first meeting.

Teens can volunteer at the Westminster Public Library’s Summer Reading Program. Teens must use people-skills and organizational abilities to register kids, hand out prizes, and perform other duties. Teens must commit to working scheduled shifts, and can earn between 10-30 volunteer hours.

You can check out the calendar of volunteer shifts that you signed up for here:   College Hill Library   Irving Street Library
