The Last Namsara is about a girl named Asha who hunts dragons, but her goal specifically a powerful dragon named Kozu. As a child, she would tell forbidden stories of the "Old days" that poisoned her mother to death. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't stop herself from reading and telling them as if they were addictive. But the stories came with the price of attracting dragons. Asha soon stopped telling the stories which enraged the dragons and Kozu, the greatest of them all, breathed hot fire on her leaving a long scar along her face. Since then, she has promised revenge.
The book was slow at first but picked up pace towards the middle. Asha is under the stereotype against hating slaves but she also grows out of it as she falls in love with one. The Last Namsara is action packed and great for anyone who enjoys elemental fantasy.
