Gray Mountain by John Grisham

In 2008, when the recession hits, Samantha Kofer watches as her perfect life as a lawyer in one of the best law firms in New York falls apart. She takes a volunteer position in Brady, Virginia at a legal aid clinic in hopes that one day she'll get her job back. Samantha is shocked by the injustices committed by coal companies for profit in this small town of 2,200 people. For the first time in her life, Samantha is practicing real law and helping real people take on the dangerous world of Big Coal.

This book isn't what I usually read. I usually stay away from lawyer-y books because they bore me, but Gray Mountain was different. The realizations that took place while I read this book made me want to run outside and make a difference at this very moment. Although I was disappointed by the end (no spoilers here), it was worth the on-point-plot until that point.

Moana

Moana is a tale about a girl ("The Chosen One," bet you can't guess the rest of this story), who will travel the wild, blue, oceans, in search of a fallen demigod. There are next to no curveballs in this movie so if you're looking to relax with a chill movie, I recommend this one. If you're looking for adventure and excitement, might I point you in the direction of Fantastic Beasts? Moana is a movie that belongs in the winter time just when people start dreaming of summer. Overall, I give this movie a solid, eh. It's good but it's not OUTSTANDING(!!!).

The Outsiders

THE OUTSIDERS

The Outsiders is a war against the poor kids, or the greasers, against the Socs who are the social rich kids. The Socs sometimes jump the Greasers, and during one of the jumps, someone took things too far. The gang of greasers then need to work together, and try to solve all the problems, espically with the Socs. Will the gang be able to do this, or will they lose?
