Before I Die

This was one of the most memorable books I have ever read. Tessa, a girl who has acute lymphoblastic leukemia (a type of cancer) has only months to live. After four years, she decides to forgo the treatment that makes her feel so terrible, and try to make the most of the rest of her life. She makes a list of things that she wants to do before she dies. However, as she gets closer and closer to death, she realizes the things she thought represented being alive really are superficial compared to small but impactful moments in your life.
(recommended for high school readers)

One Piece - Eiichiro Oda

One piece is a manga and an anime (I prefer the manga) that is about a boy named Luffy who wants to be the pirate king. He has no plan, no crew, and he can't swim. Despite all of this he manages to find himself a strong crew and sets sail for Grand Line where he encounters the toughest people there are. And not only that but he is being followed by a vice admiral of the Marines known for hunting down anyone.

This manga is really fun the read. The characters are all hilarious and very unique. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars because I have nothing negative to say. I highly recommend reading this manga or at least watching the anime. 5/5
