Only the Good Spy Young

Only The Good Spy Young by Ally Carter is a thrilling book about the life of teenage girls who training to become spy. Cammie, for all her life, has been the target by the Circle- who attempted to kidnap her. It revolves around Cammie and three of her best friend- Bex, Liz and Macey. Truth vs lie? Enemy vs friend? Love vs family? Right vs wrong? If you haven't read the previous books in the sequel, I will suggest you to do so before starting this book- 4th book of the series. I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read adventure, school life, action, and some romance book.

Teen Advisory Board meeting this Tuesday!


Our next Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting is Tuesday, Sep 24th from 4-5:30 pm at the College Hill Library.

Attend a meeting and join TAB to get volunteer credit for promoting library services to teens at the Westminster Public Libraries:
  • Advise, plan, and participate in teen programs.
  • Post reviews and teen news on the Teen Underground blog/website.
  • Promote teen reading and news by creating bulletin boards and displays in the Teen Underground areas.
  • Recommend materials for the young adult collection.
Ages 12-17. No registration.

Future meeting dates:

Legend of Korra: Book 2 - Spirits

Hey Avatar fans, as many of you know, The Legend of Korra has returned to Nickelodeon with Season 2: Spirits last week on Friday!  Korra is the Avatar and it is her job to help the Northern and Southern Tribes come together and avoid a war from starting.  On top of that she needs to help the angry spirits become calm and at rest once again.  Korra's friends are at her side to help but Korra is under a lot of pressure to do what is right for the tribes, her friends, and her family.

Rocky Mountain PBS encourages aspiring writers in grades 6, 7 & 8 to participate in StoryMakers, a short story contest for young adults. This year, StoryMakers is going paperless! Submit your 700-1,000 word original story online by October 11, 2013. No entry fee applies. 

3 winners and 5 runners-up per grade will receive:

  • Digital storytelling workshop and tour of our television studios on December 7, 2013
  • Stories published on our website
  • Awesome prizes, like Kindle Fires
  • Awards luncheon for students and families which includes keynote speaker, local author and radio personality Dom Testa on January 4, 2014.
