Jurassic Park Movie Review

Jurassic Park is a great movie for everyone, and for those of you who don't want to feel like you wasted an entire hour of your life at the movie theater, it also has a very important moral. The viewer can really ponder the message of this movie long after it's over, and it really gets the viewer thinking. Jurassic Park is a very scary movie, and I was bitting my nails the entire time because the action never ends! Though this movie can be a little scary at times, it also has some humor for people who can't stand watching a horror movie. The special affects and sound affects were amazing and even though the viewer would think a movie about dinosours comming back from extinction, and ravishing the earth might be a little bit cheesy at times, this movie was anything but. I give this movie 5 stars. Way to go, Jurassic Park!!!

Poem of the Month

A Book
by Emily Dickinson

There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

This is an awesome poem because it talks about one of my favorite things to do-- read!!!

The library needs Teen Volunteers, ages 12-17 (must be 12 by June 1), to help with our 2013 Summer Reading program from June 1 - August 3. Teens can earn volunteer hours by helping kids register, hand out prizes, enter statistics, and other duties as assigned by library staff.
