Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger. It revolves around Holden Caulfield, a 16 years old teenagers. After experienced extreme loss, he became criticized of the adult world, saying that everyone is "phony" and create a barrier to protect himself. I recommend this book because it describe the difficulties, the chocies, and the fears of a growing up teenager. Though it was written in 1950s', the issues that were described in the book still exist to this day. It is an interesting book and it promotes a different view of the teenager world.
